The participants are learning how to soak the straws, Dry the straws and cultivation of mushrooms.
Jan Vikas Samiti is conducting a training on risk management system, gap filling and internal control for core team members from 9th November 2022 to 11th November 2022. 30 core team members from Harahua, Pindra, Varanasi and Kerakat, Jaunpur are participating in this training. The participants learnt about importance of risk management, identifying and assessing risks to a business.
Jan Vikas Samiti conducted a Workshop on Service design and financial product of cooperative along with their monitoring and review for core team members from 6th to 8th November 2022. 30 core team members from Harahua, Pindra, Varanasi and Kerakat, Jaunpur participated in this workshop. The participants learnt about different types of cooperative financial products related to business transactions, financial processes, legalities in day to day operational process.

Jan Vikas Samiti is conducting a training on Packaging and Marketing of Sanitary Pads for Women Entrepreneurs from 7th November 2022 to 13th November 2022. 24 women Entrepreneurs from Sarsawa, Ateshwa, Aura and Ayar, District – Varanasi are participating in this training. The participants learnt marketing skills for sanitary pads and the advantages of sanitary pads.\
Jan Vikas Samiti celebrated International Girl Child day 2022 at its premises. The theme of the day was Our time is now – Our Rights, Our Future. 500 girls from the neighborhood schools participated in the celebration. The chief guest of the celebration was Mrs. Poonam Maurya, President, District Panchayat and the special guest of the occasion was Sneha Upadhyay, President, CWC, Varanasi. The guests motivated all the girls to stand up for their rights and inspired them to fulfill their dreams. JVS also conducted a Speech competition for the girls on the same theme and the winners were awarded with first, second and third prize. Also, the girls demanded their rights through a signature campaign.
Jan Vikas Samiti is conducting a five days training on Tele-rehabilitation from 12th to 16th October 2022. All together 09 participants form Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are participating in the training. Training is focused on basics of disability and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
Today Jan Vikas Samiti (JVS), Varanasi organized rallies on the occasion of “World Cerebral Palsy Day – 2022” to sensitize parents, school teachers and community members for their social inclusion. More than hundred children with disabilities and parents took part in the rallies to create awareness.
Jan Vikas Samiti organized a 3 days training on Development of Operational, Financial, HR manual of corporative for team members from 27th September to 29th September 2022. 30 Participants took part in the training. The participants got an idea on the operation of corporative and financial and HR manual.
Today, Jan Vikas Samiti concluded training on Wheelchair Modification Cum Mobility Training from 20th September to 22nd September 2022. This training was conducted by Mr. Mukul Kishore. 13 participants from 5 states participated in this training. The trainees got to learn how to assemble a wheelchair, types of wheelchairs and types of mobility devices required for children with disabilities.
