Jan Vikas Samiti is organizing a two days (9th & 10th December 2022) National Workshop on “Community Based Rehabilitation : Best Practices” and “Early Detection & Early Intervention of Children with Disabilities” including SOP and protocols of IDCYD Project with head of collaborative organizations at Integrated Social Initiative (ISI), New Delhi. All together 69 participants from 14 states are taking part in the workshop.

Today, Jan Vikas Samiti is conducting a training on Life Skill Education on Sexual and Reproductive Health. 26 girls with disabilities are participating in this training. The participants will get to know about the Period of Adolescent changes and Menstrual Health & Hygiene.

Jan Vikas Samiti is conducting a training on Formation and Strengthening of Inclusive Children’s Parliament on 28th & 29th November 2022. 15 participants from 2 states are participating in this training. The participants will get to know the importance of Inclusive Children’s Parliament, functions & positions of ICP, Election Methodology, Stakeholder Analysis Sustainability of ICP, Advocacy and Stiffs of Advocacy, Mediums of Expressions and Mock Election.

Jan Vikas Samiti conducted Accessibility Audit on 25th November 2022 at the Police station Sindhora, Union Bank Murdaha,” Union Bank ATM Murdaha, composite Vidhalaya Chandapur, Nand Bhawan Anganwadi, Chandapur PSC Harahua Public Toilet Kaccheri -2 to identify the physical barrier at public places. This Audit will help policy makers to think about possible modifications keeping in view the persons with disability.

Jan Vikas Samiti conducted a medical assessment camp on 24th November 2022 at its premises which was facilitated by the Outreach team of Kiran Society, Varanasi. 104 persons including children with disabilities participated in this camp wherein children were assessed on the basis of Neurological assessment, IQ test, Physiotherapy and Aids and Appliances.
