Jan Vikas Samiti (JVS) continues its commitment to empowering rural adolescent girls through focused skill development initiatives. Recently, JVS successfully completed another batch of its vocational training program at the Durgawati Training Center, Bihar.

Under this program, 32 adolescent girls were trained in tailoring, while 20 girls received beautician skills training, equipping them with practical, income-generating skills and enhancing their employability. The training aims to promote self-reliance, boost confidence, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for young girls from rural communities.

The impact of the program is evident, with one trained participant having successfully started her own center, inspiring others and demonstrating the effectiveness of skill-based education in fostering self-employment and long-term economic empowerment.
