Jan Vikas Samiti (JVS) organized a Rural Immersion Programme at its premises on 12^th May 2022. The aim of Rural Immersion is to bring out attitudinal change through exposure to rural life, among the participants for higher probity and integrity towards their work. The participants had an interaction with the LEDP beneficiaries. In addition to this, there was demonstration of sanitary pad production by SHG women. Also, there was an exhibition of SHG products. Six women entrepreneurs shared their experiences during the programme. The programme directors of the event were Dr Shikha Tripathi and Shri Prashant Dubey DGMs/faculty members, BIRD. The District Development Managers of NABARD from the districts of Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, and Varanasi were also present at the program.
