Jan Vikas Samiti organized a one-day workshop in Dedhuvana Gram Panchayat, Kerakat Block, Uttar Pradesh, focusing on crop rotation, permaculture, soil enrichment through crop residue management, and the use of compost and animal manure.
The session was conducted by Mr. Ravi Yadav, who discussed the importance of retaining crop residues after harvest, improving soil fertility naturally, and adopting sustainable farming practices. He emphasized that these methods not only enhance soil health and productivity but also create new income opportunities and improve farmers’ overall health.
A total of 100 women farmers actively participated in the workshop and pledged to adopt these practices. The program proved to be informative and inspiring, strengthening Jan Vikas Samiti’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and rural development.
