Mr. Khurshid Ali has been part of Jan Vikas Samiti’s Inclusive Development of Children and Youngsters with Disabilities (IDCYD) programme for several years. Today, his long-cherished dream has become a proud reality as he inaugurates his own Common Service Center (CSC) at Savat, Kaimur, Bihar.
This CSC stands as a powerful model of empowerment, social inclusion, and improved quality of life for persons with disabilities. More than a source of sustainable livelihood for Mr. Khurshid, the centre responds to the everyday needs of the local community. Through the CSC, community members can access essential services such as online applications, photocopying, lamination, and printing of passport-size photographs right at their doorstep.
Jan Vikas Samiti remains deeply committed to promoting inclusive development by creating enabling opportunities that allow persons with disabilities to lead dignified, independent, and productive lives. Mr. Khurshid Ali’s journey is a testimony to what becomes possible when potential is nurtured with the right support and belief.
