Entrepreneurship Training at Khargapur Panchayat, Pindra

A one-day workshop on Entrepreneurship was organised at Khargapur Gram Panchayat, Pindra Block, with Mr. Vivek Maurya serving as the resource person. He explained the importance of adopting entrepreneurship as a means to enhance income and diversify livelihood options. The training included discussions on high-yield vegetable cultivation—such as potato, garlic, and other vegetables—and value addition through the preparation of Amla Murabba. Participants were also oriented on the safe and limited use of modern chemicals, pesticides, and agricultural inputs. Mr. Maurya emphasised that entrepreneurship offers farmers a sustainable pathway to improve their earnings alongside farming activities. A total of 50 women farmers participated actively and expressed their commitment to strengthening their income through entrepreneurial initiatives. The workshop proved highly informative and motivating.
