On the 25th of May 2023, Jan Vikas Samiti took a significant step towards promoting rural livelihood and women entrepreneurship by distributing 20 food carts to aspiring women entrepreneurs. This initiative aligns with one of the core themes of Jan Vikas Samiti, which is empowering women in rural areas.

The distributed food carts serve as a platform for these women to engage in small-scale business activities, allowing them to sell popular food items such as Pani Puri, Egg Rolls, Chowmein, Noodles, and other delectable edibles. Additionally, the carts also enable the women to sell fresh vegetables, fruits, and other produce, further enhancing their entrepreneurial opportunities.

This impactful program receives support from Missio Munchen, a philanthropic organization based in Germany. Their partnership and backing play a crucial role in ensuring the success and sustainability of this initiative.

By providing these food carts to women entrepreneurs, Jan Vikas Samiti aims to empower them economically, fostering self-reliance and financial independence. This endeavor not only benefits the individual women involved but also contributes to the overall development and upliftment of the rural communities they serve.

Through this program, Jan Vikas Samiti and Missio Munchen strive to create a positive and lasting impact, not only by enhancing livelihood opportunities but also by promoting gender equality and empowering women to become agents of change in their communities.
