At Jan Vikas Samiti Murdaha, we believe that true societal progress begins with empowered women.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, our organization proudly organized a Women’s Empowerment Program in Varanasi in collaboration with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The event brought together around 1,600 women from Self-Help Groups and rural communities, creating a vibrant space for inspiration, learning, and celebration. Women from different villages shared their journeys to financial independence, managing Self-Help Groups, and supporting their families through small enterprises and livelihood activities. For many participants, joining a Self-Help Group was the first step toward confidence and self-reliance.

“When women are empowered, families prosper, villages develop, and the nation moves forward.”

The program was graced by Shri Tribhuwan Ram, MLA, Ajahara, along with several distinguished guests who appreciated the growing role of rural women in community development and economic progress. Through initiatives like this, Jan Vikas Samiti Murdaha continues its commitment to strengthening women’s leadership, promoting financial inclusion, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural women.

“Empowered women create a better future for everyone.”
