Children’s Day Celebrations,

Jan Vikas Samiti celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm on 15 November 2025 at its campus, in collaboration with Gaspar Empower Foundation. The event brought together more than 350 children from eight Community Learning Centres across villages in Harahua Block, Varanasi. Children actively participated in sports competitions and delighted the audience with dance, drama, and song performances.
The programme marked the grand conclusion of a week-long series of sports activities conducted at the village level in all CLCs. Winning participants were honoured with school bags and stationery, while 318 children received warm winter clothing.
The Block Development Officer of Harahua, Mr. Badri Prasad Verma, graced the event as the chief guest. In his address, he encouraged children to embrace new learning opportunities and make meaningful use of technology to shape a brighter future.
