About Certificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy

Jan Vikas Samiti started the Certificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy (CCRT) on August 07, 2023, which was approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi. This accreditation ensures the highest standards of education and training while confirming credibility and relevance to the field of rehabilitation therapy. After completing this course students can work as rehabilitation therapists in CBR set up and help organizations working in the disability sector.

Certificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be admitted to the Certificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy

• The minimum entry qualification for admission will be 50% marks in class 12th from any recognized board of the Central/ State Government.
• For SC/ST/ OBC/  PwDs minimum entry qualification for admission will be 45% marks at class 12th from any recognized board of the Central/ State Government.

Desirable:

• Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak in English

Additional Information

• Minimum attendance:  A minimum attendance of 80% in class is required to be eligible to appear in the examination.
• Vacation: A two-week vacation (from 19 December 2024 to 3 January 2025) will be provided.  Sundays and other national holidays as pre-decided by JVS.
• Certification:  A Student who has attended the course and completed the requirements for all papers successfully will be eligible to receive a certificate from the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi to work in the field of Rehabilitation as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant.
• Examination:
  • A candidate must obtain a 40% pass mark in each theory paper and 50% in each practical paper separately in internal & and external assessments. An aggregate of 45% in each paper is required for passing the course.
  • The examination will be conducted probably in June/ July 2025
