JVS organized a one-day workshop on Sustainable Agricultural Practices on 9 November 2025 at Deduana Panchayat, Kerakat, Jaunpur (U.P.), aiming to promote eco-friendly and climate-resilient farming among rural women farmers. The session was facilitated by Mr. Ravi Yadav, an expert in sustainable agriculture, who guided participants on key practices such as crop rotation, permaculture, soil treatment, soil testing, crop residue management, and effective use of organic manure.
The workshop emphasized how sustainable techniques enhance soil fertility, improve productivity, and contribute to environmental conservation. Fifty women farmers participated actively, engaging in discussions and practical demonstrations. They pledged to adopt sustainable and organic methods in their fields to reduce dependency on chemical inputs.
This initiative strengthened farmers’ knowledge and confidence to implement environmentally responsible farming, contributing to long-term livelihood sustainability and ecological balance in their communities.
