Community-Based Rehabilitation of Children & Youngsters with Disabilities

Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) focuses on enhancing the quality of life for Children & Youngsters with Disabilities and their families with meeting basic needs and ensuring inclusion and participation. In network with 66 organizations in 15 states of North and North East India, JVS has been working with 6330 children and youngsters with Disabilities by providing home-based education and physical rehabilitation until 28th September 2020.  Jan Vikas Samiti reaches out to 397 children with disabilities adopting the CBR matrix for their rehabilitation and empowerment. 

Jan Vikas Samiti also assists in forming Disabled People’s Organization (DPO) in the target community to empower the Youngsters with Disabilities and become the change agents among their community for their better future.
