On April 25, 2026, a community awareness and counselling session was conducted at Prakasha Bhatta, a brick kiln in Puwari Kala, for women and men workers. The session aimed to raise awareness about labour rights and access to government welfare schemes.
Magistrate Rekha Srivastava addressed the participants and shared key information on workers’ rights, legal age of marriage, pension schemes, benefits for persons with disabilities, working hours, and workplace safety. She also highlighted important government initiatives such as the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme, Sukanya Yojana, and MGNREGA.
The session was interactive, with workers actively participating and sharing their concerns. These were addressed simply and practically. Overall, the session was well-received and found to be informative and beneficial.

The program concluded with a call to all workers to stay informed about their rights and the available welfare schemes.
