Training on Financial Management and Investment at Mahgaon Gram Panchayat, Pindra

A one-day training on Financial Management and Investment was organised on 25th November 2025 by Jan Vikas Samiti at Mahgaon Gram Panchayat, Pindra Block, with Mr. Anil serving as the resource person. He explained key aspects of financial transactions, record-keeping, and transparent accounting within community groups. The session covered the Five Principles of SHG management, importance of regular monthly meetings, consistent savings, loan disbursement and recovery, maintaining books of accounts, proper documentation of proceedings, and monthly grading of groups. Participants also learned about starting small enterprises, making informed investments, decision-making, planning strategies, and understanding bank loans and interest. In addition, Mr. Anil highlighted important precautions related to cybercrime and online scams. A total of 65 women actively took part in this enriching training.
