Jan Vikas Samiti (JVS) organized a one-day training on Animal Husbandry-Based Livelihoods at Namami Gange FPO, Bankat, Varanasi, with 40 women farmers participating enthusiastically.
Led by Mr. Ravindra Pratap Singh, the session focused on poultry and fisheries management, sharing practical insights on sustainable livestock practices, feed management, and market opportunities.
Participants also visited fish ponds, hatchery units, and integrated livestock models for hands-on learning.
The training inspired women to embrace animal husbandry as a pathway to economic independence and strengthened rural livelihoods.
