This inspiring story is of Khushbu John from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. She was born without both hands and legs. Nothing stopped her parents, especially her mother to ensure that Khushbu gets the education she wanted. With the support from JVS and she graduated and also did her DCA. Currently, Khushbu is working as a Computer Operator in Forest Department.
Muskan is an educational initiative run by Jan Vikas Samiti to ensure easy, affordable and appropriate educational access and social development of the most marginalized children with multiple disabilities. Twenty-five children with multiple disabilities are enrolled in Muskan Day Care Center. Our intervention strategy includes audio-visual learning, therapeutic intervention, yoga classes, activities of daily living training, provision of nutrition and social inclusion
